With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of entertainment, business, and social impact, Lucas Michael Payne leads J&L Events LLC with a singular mission: to create high-production experiences that bridge the gap between world-class culture and local community.

Originally hailing from Chicago, Lucas began his journey, building a reputation as a powerhouse in talent promotion and event management. Throughout his career, he has successfully brokered deals and collaborated with legendary artists such as New Edition, Birdman, Lil Wayne, and K. Michelle. His deep-rooted expertise in the entertainment industry is the backbone of J&L Events' ability to secure premier talent for our clients.

 

Beyond the Stage

While many know him for his influence in the music world, Lucas is a multifaceted leader with significant ties to the energy and global supply sectors. As the President and Co-Founder of Force Energy Group and Force Global Supply, he demonstrated his business acumen by generating over $21 million in revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, his success is always measured by his contribution to others; during that time, he donated millions in PPE to underserved communities, proving that business is a platform for service.

• Global Impact: In 2022, he founded Kenzo’s Well, commissioning his first clean water well in Ghana, Africa.
