Giving Back: Our Commitment to Community & Impact

At J&L Events LLC, we believe that true success isn't just measured by the scale of our productions, but by the depth of our impact. Led by our CEO, Lucas Michael Payne, philanthropy is woven into the very fabric of our company. We don’t just build stages; we build foundations for a better future.

As a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., our CEO leads with the principle of "Citizenship." Whether it was donating millions in PPE to vulnerable communities during the pandemic or organizing local food drives at our Tacos & Beats events, we show up when the community needs us most.

Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet millions still live without it. In 2022, Lucas Michael Payne founded Kenzo’s Well to bridge this gap.

  • The Mission: To provide sustainable, clean drinking water to underserved regions in Africa.

  • The Progress: We are proud to have commissioned our first well in Ghana, providing life-changing resources to an entire community. A portion of the proceeds from our major tours, including the upcoming Family Reunion Tour 2027, goes directly toward funding future well projects.

We believe in investing in the leaders of tomorrow. J&L Events LLC actively supports organizations that provide mentorship, education, and safety for youth.

  • InZone Illinois: Lucas serves on the Board of Directors for InZone, an organization dedicated to providing a safe haven and academic support for underserved youth in Illinois.

  • Mentorship in Production: We are developing programs to give young creatives hands-on experience in event technology, lighting, and sound engineering, opening doors to careers in the entertainment industry.
